HTC Touch Viva My new Identity

I still remember the college days when my very rich friends used to carry this bulky phone around and flaunt it in front of babes. Yeah ! i wanted to get hold of one(I mean the phone) .But amazingly i have never put the techie in me to work other than watching the glamorous babes on my 2G phones. But hey i got hold of one finally. Now i am a proud owner of a HTC Touch Viva phone. The specs are awesome but except for the 3G option which i was willing to let go given the low price of the model.

But i am happy i chose a Windows Mobile and managed to stay away from the Blackberry and the Nokia Business class phones.I might sound very old style here but i choose to be around something which i have been comfortable for years on my laptop and my desktop.Yeah you guessed it right i am talking about the OS Windows Operating Systeam.Symbian , Android are other competitors in the OS space but i would say that all do the same work except for the Android which is  more like a Linux culture BUILD IT KILL IT .

Now lets talk a bit of sense. This has been bothering me for quite some while now that why did I buy a Windows Mobile in the first place.Well the techie in me caught me and i ended up doing the act.Though i should thank my mom (cos she paid for it) the other person who has to be thanked is my Nephew(he is 27 years old) for the timely advice.I have been playing around the mobile sorry PDA for quite sometime and this is what i found out .I can pair my PDA with my laptop and share files.Just like an iphone there are quite a few cool apps for the windows mobile.Remember that it is quite easy to build a windows mobile app and this is evident from the number of freeware apps that perform some cool things.I have an app for facebook, twitter and my gmail and i can find just about anything for my PDA.

My requirements were very simple , just that i was waiting for the right time.I did do a bit of research before buying the device.Other options that might interest someone like me is the new phone from Onida that performs just about everything a PDA does and it costs a meager 2800/-.There are other phone in the Business phone category coming up in June.I am still awaiting the new Nokia C3,C4 and the much awaited Nexus one in India. I plan to invest some more money on the ipad or the lean notebooks that have caught the buyers attention recently. You know what!!!!! .. the most interesting of these device is yet to come up and it will be available soon from Apple. Keep guessing the new device from Apple ,  till then find out more about technology.
